  • About Us

The Boston Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a community-based volunteer corps that prepares for and may respond to emergencies in the City of Boston. Boston MRC members have both medical and non-medical backgrounds, and are considered leaders in their communities.

Recent events have taught us that cities need to be ready for anything, including natural disasters, terrorism, and disease. Boston MRC members donate their time and expertise in order to ensure that all Bostonians, especially the most vulnerable, are prepared and have access resources they may need during a public health emergency.
