    The Family Institute strengthens and heals families through clinical and community services, professional education, and research. An independent affiliate of Northwestern University, The Institute provides mental health services to families, couples and individuals; trains mental health professionals; and conducts research to improve treatment methods. The Institute provides services throughout metropolitan Chicago, with clinical services offered at three sites and outreach programs at nine sites, including community centers in culturally diverse, underserved neighborhoods. It is headquartered on Northwestern University’s Evanston, Illinois campus.
