  • About Us

Camp Kesem Minnesota is a free week-long overnight summer camp serving the special emotional needs of children in the Minnesota area coping with their parent’s illness or untimely death from cancer. In addition to camp we give them year round support, showing them that they aren’t alone in the fight against cancer. Kesem Minnesota is created, funded, and run entirely by a team of college student volunteers at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. The fundraising goal for this year is $70,000, which will allow 80 children ages 6-16 to attend Camp Kesem at Camp One Heartland in Willow River, MN free of charge. Student volunteers make a yearlong commitment to gather these funds as well as give campers support through reunions and newsletters.
