  • About Us

The Grief Center of New Mexico's mission is to provide compassionate and safe support, understanding, healing, and hope to the grieving community. The Center offers support groups for children, teens, and adults. These groups meet every other week during the school year. The support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers. Our Four Principles: (1) Grief is a natural reaction to the loss of a loved one for children and teens as well as adults; (2) Within each individual is the natural capacity to heal oneself; (3) The duration and intensity of grief are different for each individual; and (4) Caring and acceptance assist in the healing process.
