    The Herbert Berghof Studio (HB Studio) was founded in 1945 by Herbert Berghof, later joined by master acting teacher Uta Hagen. Conceived as a collective where theatre artists at all levels might come to hone their craft, and seasoned professionals to pass on their knowledge, the Studio has remained true to its commitment to offer high-quality theatre training at artist-friendly prices. HB Studio serves a widely diverse community of around a thousand students per term.
