    Our collective vision as the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and people of color is to cultivate a society;

    • where all people are valued members of the community;
    • where families can adequately support themselves;
    • where our youth can realize increased access to higher education and financial resources;
    • where our seniors are respected and valued for their knowledge and wisdom;
    • where citizens can live in neighborhoods that are vibrant and thriving; and share in the region's prosperity and well-being.
