    The Unitarian Universalist Congregation was founded in Charleston, WV in 1953. Working to model the principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) through our actions in our communities, our mission is to ensure a nurturing, inclusive, and growing religious family and to support diversity and freedom of ideas and beliefs. For our multi-generational membership and friends, we strive to provide a safe environment that fosters spiritual and philosophical development, while promoting social justice and sustainable living.
