About Us
The Book Truck increases literacy skills among homeless, foster care, and low-income teens in order to create a pathway out of poverty. Through our innovative programming, we get teens who have never picked up a book to start reading. Every year, The Book Truck gives thousands of free high-interest, diverse books to underserved teens throughout Los Angeles County.
