African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey - Training and Development Institute

AACCNJ Training and Development Institute (TDI) performs an essential role in the economic viability of New Jersey. As an eligible training provider for the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, AACCNJ TDI provides training, education, and support services for unemployed and under-employed workers. The type of training, education and support services performed varies depending upon the needs of both the workers and employers. AACCNJ TDI fulfills the need for self-empowerment opportunities through knowledge, skills and competency building for individuals while also eliminating barriers that adversely impact the social determinants of health. This effort is to improve readiness and competitiveness for people in underserved communities throughout NJ, with the expressed purpose of reducing poverty rates and strengthening the overall economic standing of residents.
