    The mission of Family Support Services of the Bay Area is to nurture children, youth and caregivers to keep families healthy and intact.

    Family Support Services of the Bay Area provides home-based and community-based support to parents and other caregivers of vulnerable children – those who are disabled, medically fragile, drug exposed, abused or neglected, and those at risk of abuse or neglect.

    This mission is carried out in the services provided by the agency's four programs:

    the Respite Care Program, the Family Preservation Program, the Kinship Program and the OreMi Mentoring Program.

    We serve families in San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties, with offices in San Francisco and Oakland. We reach clients in some of the most underserved communities.
