LiveUp Programs
About Us
LiveUp Programs is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, that provides overnight long weekend programs to adults with Down syndrome (21+). Our programs focus on life and social skill development, healthy living, and giving back to the community. During these weekends, peer mentors pair up with young adults with Down syndrome, on a one-to-one ratio, which fosters close, strong relationships.
We currently offer programs in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and San Diego, with 20-25 participants each. Last year, we visited museums, cheered at baseball games, cooked new recipes, practiced our improv skills and participated in countless other fun activities.
