  • About Us

Cook Inletkeeper is a community-based nonprofit organization founded in 1995 to protect Alaska’s Cook Inlet watershed and the life it sustains. Cook Inletkeeper combines research, education and advocacy to provide citizens with the tools they need to protect their water and fisheries resources. Cook Inletkeeper recognizes climate change as the most pressing threat to our natural resources and the families and communities that rely on them. In response, the organization works diligently to educate and organize Alaskans to move beyond fossil fuels, to a clean energy future that respects human rights, protects our natural heritage and creates sustainable jobs and economies.
