    UMAR Boxing Program has provided a 12-month safe haven for at-risk children of Baltimore City since 1999. The program is located in the Druid Heights Community of Baltimore City and currently serves 50 children between the ages of 8 to 18. While boxing is an exciting draw and integral part of the program, academic development is the paramount goal. The motto of Umar Boxing Program, Inc. is “No Hooks Before Books!” please refer to our website www.nohooksbeforebooks.org.
