After the Races

  • About Us

After the Races is a non-profit rehabilitation and rehoming facility for retiring Thoroughbred racehorses. We place these horses into suitable, long-term homes while promoting the versatility and usefulness of the breed beyond racing. Since our inception in 2011 we have had more than 900 Thoroughbreds go through our program.

After the Races attends and hosts several events a year, including hosting students from local schools and colleges, working with internship programs, and engaging with local youth groups such as 4H and FFA groups.
