    MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) is a non-profit, poverty service organization that provides a multitude of social services to low income residents in our service area. Our services include: emergency food (the 9th largest food bank in California), clothing, medical and dental care, a learning center (ESL classes and after school programs), along with job training and job placement.

    Our MISSION as a volunteer driven organization, is to provide services that meet the basic human needs of individuals who reside in the Northeast San Fernando Valley. These services are provided in a manner that safeguards the dignity of all recipients while promoting self-reliance.
