    The Ontario Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines (OCHRP) is an activist human rights network of women, workers, church people, students and migrant Filipinos that promotes awareness of human rights issues concerning the Philippines and the situation of overseas workers in the Philippines. OCHRP was established in 2001 in the face of increasing human rights violations in the Philippines. The goals of OCHRP are to organise, mobilise and educate Ontarians, Canadians and overseas Filipinos on human rights issus of migrants and the Filipino people so they can assist in the struggle to defend human rights and democratic development. Key activities: awareness through education, HR campaigns, networking, election monitoring and research.
