The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute's mission is to support the implementation of policies and programs that help Texans obtain effective, efficient mental health care when and where they need it. The Institute provides high quality, nonpartisan and objective policy research and development to improve mental health services in Texas. It’s about more than funding at the state level. It’s about leveraging our resources statewide at a grassroots level – sharing best practices, making resources available, accessing information, building protocol – and then using that information to help those who need it most. It’s time to change how we think about mental health and change our state of mind.
