About Us
As a feminist organization, Marin Abused Women's Services leads the effort to make our county free of violence, abuse and intimidation of women and girls. Focusing on women who are battered, abused or at risk of abuse, we ensure the immediate and long-term safety of all women through our programs, alert the community to the epidemic of violence, abuse and intimidation of women, educate the community about the social and political roots of violence as a tool of oppression and control of women, mobilize the community to create innovative and dynamic solutions to end violence, abuse and intimidation of women.
