    Legal Aid of Arkansas (LAA) provides free services to low-income people with civil legal problems. Services are provided by licensed attorneys and paralegals and range from brief service, such as advice or a letter to a landlord or creditor, to extended representation in court or at administrative hearings. LAA serves 31 counties across northern and eastern Arkansas and has offices in Fayetteville, Harrison, Helena-West Helena, Jonesboro, Mountain View, Newport and West Memphis. Special emphasis is placed on services for victims of domestic violence, the elderly and the disabled.
