Founded in 1982, the organization includes a membership of over 400 dance companies, presenters, local/regional/special-interest dance service organizations, educational institutions, businesses and individuals. Based in Washington, DC, Dance/USA has three branch offices serving the needs of the New York City, the metropolitan DC/Virginia/Maryland area, and the Philadelphia dance communities.
