  • About Us

The Council of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP), a 35-year old membership orgazination, serves one of the most active segments of American arts and culture--the independent publishers of our finest fiction, poetry and prose.

CLMP works to strengthen the organizational capacities of its member publishers through a variety of programs and services. CLMP also serves as a nexus of communication, promoting shared learning throughout the field and advocating on behalf of independent literary publishers through a diverse roster of public programs such as literary magazine fairs, marathon readings, and panel discussions.
