Plumas Corporation

Plumas Corporation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, whose mission is to promote the benefits of good land stewardship through education and restoration activities that result in healthy forests, resilient watersheds, and prosperous communities.

We provide many services, including stream/meadow/forest restoration design and construction, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan preparation and implementation, and watershed monitoring on both public and private lands. We work with other NGOs, federal, state, and local agencies, as well as subcontract with private consulting firms. We are an active partner in the Sierra Meadow Partnership.

We also provide fiscal and contracting services to the Plumas County Fire Safe Council, whose mission is to reduce the loss of natural and human made resources caused by wildfire through Firewise community programs and pre-fire activities in Plumas County.
