  • About Us

The Hummingbird Foundation™ promotes sustainable giving to groups that need reliable assistance in moving from surviving, to thriving. Our belief is that focused, project-driven fundraising can assist people in areas with few resources to develop ways and means toward a lifetime of personal dignity and independence within the geographical area in which they are situated. It is a bloom-where-you-are-planted mentality.

With this philosophy, our goal is to develop and retain long-term relationships and commitments to the people and communities we work with.

We also believe that the successful transition of each group from surviving, to thriving, is a beacon of light and hope to surrounding communities—a profound example that no matter how dire the consequences, we should never consider ourselves slaves to our situation, and always reach higher.
