Description

The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) is a Washington, DC-based think tank that helps policymakers work across the aisle to craft bipartisan solutions. By connecting lawmakers, delivering data and context, negotiating policy details, and creating space for bipartisan collaboration, BPC ensures democracy can function on behalf of all Americans. We believe that bipartisanship combines the best ideas of both parties to create even better, lasting policy.

BPC is seeking a Policy Analyst or Research Analyst to contribute to the Economic Policy Program’s work on fiscal and tax policy, primarily focusing on developing and promoting fiscally responsible policies in Congress and preparing policymakers and the public for the 2025 “fiscal cliff,” which includes the expiration of trillions of dollars in tax policies at the end of the 2025 calendar year.

A major pillar of this effort will be a multifaceted, national policy, communications, and advocacy initiative to raise the issue of fiscal responsibility with the public and policymakers. Given BPC’s wide range of policy expertise, the Policy Analyst/Research Analyst will work closely with other BPC policy teams (Energy, Health, Housing, Human Capital) to make the case that America’s unsustainable fiscal trajectory is relevant to everyday Americans and critical sectors of the economy.
