    Description

    The Fresno County Health Improvement Partnership (FCHIP) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Executive Director. FCHIP is dedicated to improving community health outcomes through collaborative efforts and innovative strategies. As a growing organization, we are looking for an individual who can provide strategic leadership, foster partnerships, and drive impactful change across our community.

    Position Overview: The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the agency's operations, including strategic planning, team management, community engagement, and program development. This role requires a strong background in addressing social determinants of health, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the agency's mission and vision.
      • Board Collaboration: Work closely with the executive board to align organizational goals with community needs and secure necessary resources.
      • Community Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse community leaders, stakeholders, and partners to leverage collective impact.
      • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and ensure sound fiscal management practices.
    • Partnership Development: Experience in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with other initiatives and/or CBOs that advance health equity.
    • Grant Management and Fundraising: Identify funding opportunities, develop grant proposals, and lead fundraising efforts to support programmatic initiatives and sustainability.
      • Program Oversight: Ensure effective implementation, evaluation, and oversight of programs aimed at improving community health outcomes.
      • Team Leadership: Guide and inspire a dedicated team to achieve organizational goals and uphold a culture of excellence and collaboration.
      • Knowledge of Healthcare Systems: Demonstrate a keen understanding of community health worker initiatives, enhanced care management, and Medicare/Medicaid services.
      • Advocacy and Representation: Serve as a visible advocate for community health issues, representing the agency at local, regional, and state levels.

    Qualifications:

      • Bachelors degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work or related field. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
      • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in leadership roles within healthcare, public health, or nonprofit sectors.
      • Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and program management.
      • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, grant management, and fundraising.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
      • Commitment to health equity and improving outcomes for underserved populations.
