    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and edit technical documents, including grant proposals, research papers, formal letters, various forms, and SOPs.
    • Collaborate with team members to gather and verify information.
    • Simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
    • Ensure content consistency, quality, and adherence to guidelines.
    • Support grant writing and contribute to content strategy.

    Eligibility

    • Open for Malaysians only.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical writing, in the non-profit sector, preferably in conservation or environmental work.
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, English, Environmental Science, Conservation, or Technical Writing).
    • Proven experience in writing successful grant proposals, ideally for conservation, environmental, or scientific projects.
    • Strong understanding of conservation issues, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to non-expert audiences.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with corporate and government grant applications, and reporting requirements.
    • Experience in budget development and financial reporting for grant proposals.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in using grant management software and project management tools.
    • Possess excellent communication skills, a flexible and solution-oriented approach, and a willingness to learn from team members.
    • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Candidates must be fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong skills in speaking, reading, and writing. The ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in both languages is essential. Proficiency in Bahasa Istana is a bonus.
