    Description

    We are a social impact organization, hiring a content creator to help create content and manage our social media channels. We are launching a new social impact documentary film in the Fall of 2024 and are looking for someone to help build the film's presence and elevate its online visibility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Use social media content to drive awareness of the film and build a community of users who are passionate about math literacy
    • Ideate and create engaging content that shares the film’s themes around math and the film’s social impact work
    • Build engagement strategies that help create conversation around the topic of math
    • Stay up-to-date with social trends to uncover fresh content ideas that resonate with our audience
    • Attend events when needed to shoot on-site content
    • Create and maintain a social media calendar across multiple platforms
    • Monitor and respond to comments/questions publicly and in DMs
    • Analyze social performance metrics to gauge content effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience using graphic design platforms and video editing tools
    • Comfortable creating quick turn social video content
    • Excellent organizational skills and program coordination skills, including a demonstrated ability to efficiently plan, organize, and manage projects with limited direct supervision
    • Able to work effectively as part of a small, proactive team

    LOCATION

    • Any location in the U.S. works, although we have a slight preference for candidates who live in the Bay Area
