    Conexión Américas seeks qualified candidates for the Administrative and Culture Liaison position. The successful candidate will be adept at managing administrative tasks while fostering a supportive and inclusive organizational culture. Experience with administrative operations and cross-cultural

    communication is preferred.

    The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish and have exceptional verbal communication skills. The role demands 100% proficiency in written English, and the candidate must ensure that all documentation and reporting are clear, accurate, and professional. This position is crucial for maintaining effective communication across diverse teams and creating comprehensive reports and

    records.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    This full-time, exempt position reports to the Co-Executive Directors and the Director of Development and Strategic Growth. The Administrative & Culture Liaison will oversee administrative tasks and provide logistical support around the implementation of our Gente y Cultura Strategy. Key responsibilities include executing strategies and events and managing data initiatives that support cultural and professional growth, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.

Our mission is to build a welcoming community and create opportunities where Latino families can belong, contribute, and succeed. Our organization was founded in 2002 to address some of the most pressing challenges created

    by recent demographic changes in Middle Tennessee as an increasing number of Latino families come to this region searching for a better quality of life.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    ● Administrative Support: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence. Oversee office supplies and equipment, ensuring a smooth operational workflow incollaboration with other administrative team members as needed.

    ● Culture Liaison: Foster a supportive work environment that reflects Conexión Américas's values. Coordinate logistics for activities falling within our Gente y Cultura Strategy, including but not limited to team retreats, wellbeing activities and team celebrations.

    ● Cultural and Professional Development: Coordinate logistics for team professional development opportunities within our Gente y Cultura Strategy, including tracking team professional development, communicating with leadership and staff around opportunities and

    organizing logistics around PD.

    ● Internal Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal communications, ensuring that information is effectively shared across departments. Support with the publication of the internal newsletter.

    ● Meeting Minutes: Accurately document discussions, decisions, and action items during meetings. Ensure that minutes are clear, concise, and reflect the meeting’s outcomes.

    ● Event Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of events, including agendas, participant lists, schedules, and feedback. Ensure that all details are captured to facilitate follow-up and future planning.

    ● Organizing Information: Develop and maintain a systematic approach to storing and organizing documents. Ensure that records are easily accessible and retrievable while adhering to confidentiality and security protocols.

    General Organization Support Duties:

    The position requires occasional evening or weekend attendance at various community and fundraising events. Our commitment is to serve our community and each other. Every employee is expected to be flexible to accommodate any unanticipated needs of the organization, even when they

    do not fall into the normal scope of their job duties.

    Qualifications (Education and Experience):

    ● Fluent in English and Spanish, with 100% proficiency in written English.

    ● A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience in a relevant role will be considered.

    ● Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or liaison role, preferably in a nonprofit or multicultural environment.

    ● Strong organizational and communication skills.

    ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

    ● Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
