    Description

    Job Highlights:

    The Association for Creatine Deficiencies is a fast paced nonprofit on a mission to change lives by helping creatine deficiency patients receive a diagnosis and effective treatment shortly after birth! The ideal candidate for this position will be excited to support this cause and enjoy tackling initiatives such as raising disease awareness through strategic social media and leading peer-to-peer fundraising programs to fund creatine deficiency research. Our team is virtual and collaborates closely through Slack, Zoom, and other platforms. We are looking for a teammate that both works well independently and enjoys collaboration. This position reports to the ACD executive director and board of directors.

    Position Type:  

    Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)

    Location:

    Remote; Utah based

    Responsibilities:

    • Marketing & Fundraising
      • Plan and execute awareness and fundraising campaigns
      • Develop corporate sponsorship programs
      • Search out and apply for appropriate grants
    • Communications
      • Manage communications calendar and create social media copy and graphics
      • Prepare email campaigns and quarterly newsletters in Mailchimp
      • Prepare blog posts and news releases
      • Promote stories and events with media partners
    • Basic Website Management
      • Manage website content via WordPress

    Essential Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related career

    Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Google Suite and social media
    • Proficient in English; additional languages are valued due to our international community
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
    • Strong initiative and ability to effectively work independently
    • Team-minded; values others’ viewpoints and ideas

    Preference may be given to candidates with:

    • 2+ years marketing and/or fundraising experience, or working in the nonprofit sector
    • Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom webinars, GiveLively, and/or Little Green Light experience

    Salary & Compensation:

    • Pay is commensurate with experience, ranging from $20-$25 per hour
