    Director of Operations

    Remote Position

    Are you passionate about overseeing and optimizing operations that make a meaningful impact globally? International Aid Charity (IAC) is seeking a skilled Director of Operations to lead and ensure the smooth execution of our programs and services. IAC provides emergency relief, education, orphan sponsorship, and social support services to marginalized communities worldwide.

    IAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in the U.S., committed to fostering hope and opportunity through direct engagement with communities in need. Our programs focus on providing essential resources like housing, vocational training, and emotional support, empowering individuals to build brighter futures.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with IAC’s mission and strategic goals.
    • Develop and oversee operational policies and procedures that optimize efficiency and ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Collaborate with program directors to support effective implementation and scaling of programs across different regions.
    • Manage and allocate resources, including budgeting, procurement, and staffing, to ensure smooth operational flow.
    • Establish performance metrics and regularly monitor operations for effectiveness, adjusting processes as necessary.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational processes, ensuring timely delivery of services and aid.
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and international regulations relevant to program operations.
    • Foster relationships with external partners, donors, and vendors to enhance operational capacity and expand IAC’s reach.
    • Prepare and present operational reports to the executive leadership team and board of directors.
    • Represent IAC at external meetings, conferences, and events, building a network of support for our programs.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
    • A minimum of seven years of experience in operations management, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on optimizing performance and efficiency.
    • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with international aid programs and regulatory compliance is a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other operational management tools.
    • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
    • Valid driver’s license and access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle, depending on work location.
