Leadership in Financial Education (LIFE) provides aspiring youth from under-represented and under-resourced communities with experiential training workshops designed to encourage life-long financial responsibility. LIFE collaborates with New York City business professionals to facilitate its financial teachings and encourages professional growth through internships. LIFE participants gain skills and knowledge to equip them to make sound financial decisions which will positively impact their present-day success as well as the livelihood of future generations.

The LIFE Workshop Series for high school juniors and seniors spans six financial literacy topics over the course of a school semester. Each workshop features a topic-focused financial literacy lesson which is reinforced by activities and discussion.

About the Role

As a Program Coordinator, you will recruit, interview, and select students for the workshop series. • Collect participant evaluations at each session
  • Collect and analyze end-of-program evaluations to determine participant growth from beginning to end of overall program
  • Report program outcomes to the LIFE Board of Directors
  • Provide bi-weekly updates to LIFE Board Co-Chairs regarding program progress/questions/concerns
