Description
Ravensworth Baptist Church, Annandale VA seeks Interim Music Staff. Possibilities for the position(s) include, but are not limited to:
- Separate accompanist and minister/director positions
- Combined accompanist and minister/director positions
- 1-2 Sundays/month with a separate accompanist (shared position)
Salary: $22,000 per year for one person as Director/Accompanist; if position is split between two people, amounts would be adjusted. Salary is negotiable based on experience and education.
Work Schedule: 10-12 hours per week; Sunday worship and regular choir rehearsal are the only in-person requirements. If position is split between two people, hours would be adjusted.
Qualifications: College degree in a related field, with Master’s degree in related field preferred; experience working in church settings, specifically worship accompaniment and choir accompaniment/directing.
Supervisor: This position reports to the Pastor.
Other information: Minimum availability 3 Sundays per month; preferred start date in September 2024.
