    Description

    Legal Outreach is a 41-year-old, legal education and college preparatory non-profit that prepares urban youth for higher education and professional careers through law-related, academic skill development and support programs that operate year-round. We are seeking a Partnership Development Manager to plan and manage the organization’s fundraising efforts as well as cultivate and manage relationships with external organizations, businesses, and individuals to secure partnerships that support the organization’s mission and goals.

    Primary Duties:

    • Produce fundraising newsletters
    • Coordinate special fundraising projects
    • Coordinate the Annual Benefit
    • Research and identify potential partners, including corporations, foundations, and law firms to support specific programs and opportunities
    • maintain communication with existing partners
    • organize and attend meetings, presentations, and events to strengthen relationships
    • ensure partners/sponsors are recognized for their contributions through appropriate acknowledgements and reporting
    • work closely with other departments to integrate partnership efforts across the organization

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree plus three 3-5 years of experience in partnership development, corporate relations, fundraising or related role. Applicants must possess exceptional interpersonal, writing and verbal skills, creative and strategic planning skills, proficiency with Microsoft office, strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

    Location:

    Office is located in Long Island City, but work is hybrid.

    Compensation:

    Salary range is $64,000 - $69,000, commensurate with experience. We offer generous vacation, holidays, personal hours, medical/dental, and 403(b) plan participation. This position offers additional opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses.
