Jazz Night School is a community-based nonprofit that provides innovative music education designed for adults. Founded in 2008, Jazz Night School offers combos, classes, big bands, and more, in an inclusive environment. All offerings are taught by professional jazz musicians and educators. Empowering life-long learning, Jazz Night School offers a collaborative and accepting space where diverse students gather to develop their skills and connect through the uplifting spirit of jazz.

Jazz Night School is at an exciting and critical stage of organizational evolution, focusing on increasing enrollment and building a sustainable operation. It is in that context that Jazz Night School is seeking an Operations Manager to help maintain current systems and continue to build upon them for this next phase of growth.
Position
The Operations Manager is a full-time position working closely with the Executive Director and other staff and faculty to ensure student satisfaction. Main duties include executing the quarterly registration process, general organization operations, and assisting other staff with various projects. This position requires computer competency, ability to improvise solutions, and enthusiasm for the organization’s mission.
The Operations Manager will play an integral role in both the everyday workings and future success of Jazz Night School. The goal of this position is to ensure smooth operations for Jazz Night School as a whole, which requires the ability to adapt to a varied range of tasks.

Compensation
Compensation dependent on qualifications and experience. Salary range: $55,000 - $70,000/yr
Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week. The work week is generally Monday to Friday with occasional work on weekends and evenings as needed. Position is onsite with possibility of some remote work.
