    Description

    ​​Seeds of Peace is in search of a United States Director of Dialogue and Training to design and deliver engaging training programs that enable educators and others to create constructive spaces for dialogue across lines of difference. This person will bring a deep expertise to their work to create and deliver meaningful dialogue and training programs. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of connection, inspire and motivate training participants, and design and execute impactful programming.

    The US Director of Dialogue and Trainings will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and dialogue initiatives across key locations in the US, in consult with our Director of Multinational Dialogue Programs. This role requires deep understanding of adult learning principles, experience facilitating dialogue across lines of difference, and effective facilitation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating impactful dialogue and training programs specifically in schools and organizations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning

    • Co-develop and execute a comprehensive training and dialogue strategy aligned with the Seeds of Peace dialogue methodology, in consult with our Director of Multinational Dialogue Programs
    • Identify training needs and design custom programs in response

    Program Development and Management

    • Lead the creation and delivery of training programs and workshops
    • Staff and coordinate all aspects of the trainings as needed
    • Ensure training content is relevant, engaging, and customized according to audience and needs
    • Oversee the selection and management of external facilitators and consultants as needed
    • Co-design, coordination, and facilitation of the educators program during the summer at the Seeds of Peace Camp

    Evaluation and Reporting

    • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and dialogue initiatives

    Essential Experience

    • Minimum of 5+ years proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs and facilitating dialogue
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in training and development
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of facilitators, with a track record of building collaborative and creative work environments
    • Experience and comfort working with and/or in schools and with educators in the United States
    • Ability to work with a diverse team across different time zones
    • Flexibility for domestic travel (~30%)

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience identifying and developing new training and earned revenue opportunities
    • Experience cultivating new funders and partners (for profit and non-profit) in a variety of locations
    • Ability to join Seeds of Peace Camp summer programming

     This is a fully remote position with preference for applicants based on the East Coast for time zone considerations.
