Resilience Force exists to build, train, and protect the skilled and at-scale workforce that can make all US homes and families climate-resilient. We work with a multi-racial workforce that includes the migrant and US-born workers, especially Black, brown, Native American, rural, and young people.
Resilience Force has its roots in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, helping to protect workers in the Gulf Coast. We work with all of the stakeholders in resilience, including government, employers, homeowners, and community members, to ensure workers can be trained and deployed effectively and safely for this critical work. About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Development Associate will assist the senior leadership team in implementation of fundraising plans to support the short and long-term philanthropic needs of Resilience Force and its wholly owned subsidiary, Resilience Works. This role will be essential to the success of Resilience Works through mapping government funding, as well as submitting and securing grants and contracts You should apply if you are excited to help nurture the growth of Resilience Force and Resilience Works, and have a passion for supporting workers’ rights and remedying inequitable preparation for, and recovery from disasters caused by climate change.

The salary range for this position is $90-100K and will be commensurate with experience. Our benefits include a 401k with 4% matching contributions, five weeks of paid vacation, 100% employer-paid health insurance (includes vision and dental) for employees, paid short term disability insurance, and life insurance.
