    Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer

    The Survivor Resource Center is sexual assault response center serving survivors of sexual assault and their families/significant others. The Survivor Resource Center is a social service agency that offers counseling and/or therapy, advocacy (legal and medical), and prevention for survivors of sexual assault, their families, and the community at large.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing counseling and/or therapy to survivors of sexual assault and their families/significant others utilizing a wide variety of modalities and therapeutic techniques.
    • Managing a case load of 20 - 25 clients from all demographics and populations - including all age groups, all racial/ethnic groups, and all genders/sexual orientations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social work, or related human services field is required.
    • Master's degree in Human Services field is preferred.
    • Licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC) is preferred but not required.
    • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with children (age 17 and under)
    • Previous counseling experience is preferred but not required.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as there is some travel (mostly local) expected with this position. (Mileage will be compensated with travel.)

    The Survivor Resource Center is looking for clinicians who are enthusiastic about the work they do and the people they serve. The ideal candidate has a passion for treating trauma, offers diversity to our staff, values communication, integrity, authenticity, and can work both independently and collaboratively within a group. As an agency dedicated to staff wellbeing, a strong dedication to understanding and addressing vicarious trauma is a must. Counseling experience with children and youth is a plus. Minimal on call rotation required. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as some travel is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Clinical Supervision provided for those seeking licensure as an LCSW or LCPC.

    This position will provide services out of the Danville, Illinois office and surrounding areas.
