If you’re in the DMV area and passionate about uplifting your community, Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) wants you on our team as a VISTA Member!

    About the Role:

    As a VISTA member, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to inspire and empower middle and high school Latinas through education, mentorship, and leadership development. This is your chance to take the lead on key projects that drive our impact, from creating surveys and preparing reports to coordinating guest speakers and supporting events. Your work will be at the heart of our efforts to create lasting change!

    The overarching goal is to strengthen the organization's infrastructure, foster community partnerships, and secure long-term resources to combat poverty effectively in the communities served.

    1. Creation and Management of Collaborative Documents: Collaborate closely with the Board Member to create and manage Google Docs and collaborative platforms.
    2. Implementation of a Database Project: Take charge of the database project, a critical organizational strategy.
    3. Grant Information Gathering: Actively engage in collecting grant-related information through thorough research.
    4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Play a central role in analyzing data collected through the database project.
    5. Community Outreach and Partnership Building: Build strong relationships and partnerships within the community, a cornerstone of the project.

    Qualifications:

    • Some college coursework completed.
