    Description

    Assist the sales team in achieving sales goals and performance metrics by providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge and exhibiting exception customer service.Rewport to the Chief Fnance Officer.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the sales team in achieving sales goals and performance metrics by driving sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing product knowledge and exhibiting exception customer service.
    • Maintain store standards of operations
    • Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner
    • Respond to customers' questions
    • Serve customers by helping them select products
    • Share the benefits of membership with customers
    • Open and close store – counting drawers, running daily/weekly/monthly reports
    • Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records
    • Manages financial transactions
    • Alert management of potential security issues
    • Assist with receiving, ticketing and displaying and restocking product
    • Assist with sales floor & stockroom maintenance
    • Assists with annual inventory
    • Participate in sales promotions and events
    • Carry out other store administrative tasks as directed
    • Flexible schedule including weekends
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School degree or equivalent
    • 2-3 years of related retail sales/customer service experience
    • Sales and customer service focused; High Energy level
    • Professional and goal-oriented
    • Flexible, Team Player
    • Dependable
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to perform basic calculations
    • Handles pressure well
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
    • Computer skills: POS system, Microsoft office
    • Be an ambassador for Asia Society, with current knowledge about the organization locally and globally
    • Knowledge of Asia preferred

    COMPENSATION:

    Salary Range: $16-17/hr

    Compensation within this range is determined by skills, experience, and organizational equity.
