Mercy Brown Bag- City Of San Leandro

  • About Us

The City of San Leandro is seeking volunteers who are passionate about ensuring qualified senior residents of Alameda County reach food security on a consistent basis. Through a partnership with Elder Care Alliance's Mercy Brown Bag grocery distribution program, volunteers are needed on-site at the San Leandro Senior Center.

Assistance will be needed most with unloading bulk items- fresh produce, shelf-stable and perishable staples from a box truck and moved inside for assembly. Once all allotted bags are assembled, distribution begins.

Hours of operation for this program are from 8AM-12PM, 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month.
