The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is dedicated to empowering, enriching, and enhancing the quality of life for older adults, caregivers, and their families within our community. As part of the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (PRCS), our mission is to foster independence and healthy aging while providing essential resources to meet the unique needs of our aging population.

Our Mission

To support older adults in leading fulfilling and independent lives by connecting them to programs, services, and opportunities that promote health, wellness, and community engagement.

Who We Serve

We proudly serve adults aged 55 and older, caregivers, and their families across Loudoun County. Our services address the diverse needs of our community, including:

• Seniors seeking social engagement, fitness, and education.
• Caregivers in need of resources, guidance, and respite.
• Adults aging in place requiring nutrition support, home-delivered meals, or mobility assistance.

Core Services

1. Senior Centers: Vibrant community hubs offering recreational activities, fitness classes, educational workshops, and social events.
2. Nutrition Services: Including congregate meals at senior centers and the Home Delivered Meals (HDM) program.
3. Caregiver Support: Resources, workshops, and counseling for those caring for aging loved ones.
4. Volunteer Programs: Opportunities for individuals to make a difference by helping with meals, programs, or friendly visits.
5. Aging & Disability Resources: Guidance and support navigating local, state, and federal services.
