    The Housing Authority's mission is to provide for nearly 12,000 public housing residents and 21,000 Section 8 participants. A primary goal of the Authority is to continue to provide housing for these low-income households, while integrating housing and economic opportunities for residents and maintaining high standards of property management, fiscal management and service delivery. The mission of the Authority is achieved through collaboration with our residents and the greater community emphasizing teamwork, mutual respect, integrity and accountability.
