  • About Us

    The Guardian ad Litem Office in Naples, Florida serves Collier County, as part of the 20th Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program. The Guardian ad Litem Program supports volunteers who advocate for abused, neglected and abandoned children in court, the child welfare system and the community. Volunteers advocate for children living in their home county, with staff support, and must be willing to go anywhere within Collier County to visit each child in their case, once monthly.

    Volunteers must

    • Be a Florida resident
    • Be at least 21 years old
    • Pass a background check
    • Attend free training
    • Have 8-10 hours per month to volunteer
    • Be in charge of their own schedules

    The goal is for 100% of Collier County children to have a Guardian ad Litem advocate.
