    The Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) provides assistance to state and local agencies in the criminal justice system through grants, research, and policy development. DCJ serves as the "Research & Development" agency for many different agencies and services in the criminal justice system. The Division consists of the following offices and units; Office of Adult and Juvenile Justice Assistance, Office of Community Corrections, Office of Domestic Violence and Sex Offender Management, Office of Research and Statistics, and the Office for Victims Programs.
