    The Hawaii Green Infrastructure Authority (HGIA) is a state agency attached to the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. It’s mission is to make clean energy accessible and affordable by providing non-traditional financing and innovative financing mechanisms to lower the cost of energy for underserved (low and moderate-income households, non-profits, small businesses and multi-family rental projects) electric utility ratepayers.
