About Us
Valverde Elementary is a neighborhood school that serves ECE-5th grade. Valverde has experienced very strong positive academic growth over the past few years. Our highly skilled staff is committed to student success through our nurturing and focused learning environment. Our teachers are trained in Literary Squared, providing literacy development in both English and Spanish. Our comprehensive academic program focuses on nurturing the whole child. Starting in the 2011-2012 school year, we are rolling out a dual language program (English-Spanish) that focuses on global citizenship and multicultural understanding.
