  • About Us

Highline Public Schools is an urban K-12 district of 18,000 students just south of Seattle incorporating Burien, SeaTac, White Center, and surrounding communities. We serve a diverse population that represents more than 90 languages, with over 65% of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. We have 18 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and a portfolio of 12 high schools that includes two comprehensive schools, six campus-based small schools, a magnet STEM school, and three alternative programs. Through our commitments to instructional leadership and to college-ready capabilities for all students, we have earned attention and support from foundation and university partners and have been praised as an innovative frontrunner in the region.
