    The mission of the Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism is to support and facilitate community developed service and volunteer activities through AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA programs to improve the quality of life for Georgians. GCSV creates partnerships and opportunities to participate in service programs in education, the environment, public safety, human needs and homeland security.
