  • About Us

    The School of Public Policy at UMBC educates students at the master's and doctoral level who wish to study U.S. domestic public policy. The areas of focus within the program are economics, education policy, evaluation and analytical techniques, health policy, policy history, public management, and urban policy.

    Joint degrees with the University of Maryland and the University of Baltimore Schools of Law; and the University of Maryland School of Medicine are also possible.

    UMBC is also the home for the Shriver Peaceworker Fellows Program which provides an opportunity fo returned Peace Corps voluteers to pursure a graduates degree in conjunction with community service that focuses on the problems of urban America.
