    Bennington County Regional Commission's (BCRC) works cooperatively with local governments to establish and advance regional cohesiveness. The organization provides direct planning and community development assistance to town and village governments through preparation and implementation of regional plans and studies. The BCRC actively advocates for the adherence to adopted regional policies and plans, and facilitates effective communication between local, state, and federal levels of government. The BCRC has recently become the fiscal agent for the Alliance for Community Transformations.
